The NC Local Government Disaster Recovery Portal is a one-stop resource to help local governments impacted by Tropical Storm Helene access disaster-recovery funding, training, and practical guidance.
The portal is a joint effort of the Southwestern Commission, Land of Sky Regional Council, High Country Council of Governments, Foothills Regional Commission, Western Piedmont Council of Governments, Centralina Regional Council, GROW NC, the Western Carolina University Local Government Training Program, the North Carolina Association of County Commissioners, the North Carolina League of Municipalities, and the UNC School of Government.
It brings together current funding opportunities, tools, and recovery resources in a single, reliable place to support affected communities.
